Our Partners
Working together to support Bay Area families.
Supporting a child's learning and development is rarely a one-person job.
At Mind Matters, we've built strong relationships with therapists, educational specialists, tutors, speech and language pathologists, occupational therapists, and other providers across the Bay Area who share our neurodiversity-affirming values.
These are the professionals we trust to carry our recommendations forward and bring them to life in meaningful, everyday ways for kids and families. We're proud to work alongside them because the best outcomes happen when the right people are working together, and no family has to navigate this journey alone.

At Lindamood-Bell, we provide intensive, research-validated, sensory cognitive instruction that has successfully improved reading and comprehension for individuals with various learning challenges. We understand that sensory cognitive functions underlie the component parts of accessing language and comprehension and that in order to think, imagery and language processing need to be intact. We identify the sensory cognitive functions as phoneme awareness ( the ability to “auditorily” perceive the identity number and sequence of sound within words for word attack), symbol imagery (the ability to “image” the identity, number and sequence of sounds and letters within words for word attack and word recognition), and concept imagery (the ability to “image a gestalt”, or whole, for oral and written language comprehension and critical thinking).
