At some point in their development, children with learning and attention differences will need a psychoeducational evaluation. This workshop is designed to help parents make the most of the evaluation process, both in terms of understanding and advocating for your child. Topics addressed include: types of evaluations and providers, when to seek an evaluation, how to effectively partner with your child’s evaluator to improve outcomes, how to better understand the evaluation results, how test scores are interpreted and translated into recommendations for your child, and how to utilize the evaluation results in order to advocate for your child’s needs.
