San Francisco: (in the Sunnyside neighborhood)
Our San Francisco office is located at 721 Monterey Blvd, in the Sunnyside neighborhood (between Glen Park and West Portal). Proximity to both HWY 101/280 and 19th avenue provides easy access for families on the north and south sides of San Francisco and the Peninsula. Ample street parking is available within the surrounding blocks and no residential parking permit is required. Public Transit Options include Glen Park and Balboa Park Bart Stations (1 mile away) and Muni Bus lines (43 Masonic, 23 Monterey, 36 Teresita).
Our Berkeley Office
Berkeley: (in the Elmwood neighborhood)
Our Berkeley Office is located in a health professional office building at 3120 Telegraph Avenue @ Woolsey Street, between the Elmwood and South Berkeley neighborhoods. Our suite (#7) is on the first floor, and is handicapped accessible. This location provides easy access to HWYS 24 and I-80, and is a 15 minute walk from the Ashby Bart Station (1/2 mile). Ample street parking is usually available within the surrounding blocks. AC Transit #6 and #18 Busses stop nearby.
Our Campbell location is closing at the end of October 2023. Please check back here for updates regarding our new Silicon Valley location. In the meantime, we remain available to support your family through our two locations throughout the Bay Area, in San Francisco and Berkeley.
Our Silicon Valley (Campbell) Office
A Safe & Comfortable Office for Testing in Silicon Valley
Our Silicon Valley office provides a comfortable and welcoming environment for our clients and their families. We are located on the second floor of a professional office building in Campbell, within a suite shared with other mental health professionals.
At Mind Matters we understand that the setup of our office plays a vital role in creating a positive experience. So we strive to maintain a calming atmosphere throughout. We also aim to put families at ease as they navigate the psychoeducational, educational, and neuropsychological testing process.
While your child is receiving services, you are welcome to visit the nearby Pruneyard Shopping Center (and eateries like Philz Coffee and Luna Mexican Kitchen). If your child needs you nearby, feel free to wait in the conference room across the hallway. If that’s in use, we do have a small ensuite shared waiting room.
We have carefully designed our office with our clients in mind, ensuring that it feels warm and inviting. Soothing decor, ample natural light, and adjustable furniture in our testing room help individuals of all ages and abilities to feel comfortable, safe, and supported. A restroom is available in the building for clients and their families.
We Want to Help Your Child Adjust to the Testing Setting
While psychoeducational, educational, or neuropsychological testing in Silicon Valley may or may not be your child’s preferred activity, we are committed to ensuring that your child feels as comfortable as possible during their time in our office. We have plenty of fidgets, sensory objects, and interesting toys that many kids enjoy using during breaks between tests. Clients are welcome to bring their own snacks/beverages. We have water and tea available. Please let our psychologists know if there is something we can do to help your child adjust to the testing setting.
Directions to Our Silicon Valley Location
Our Silicon Valley office is located in a professional office building at 30 Union Avenue, between downtown Campbell and Willow Glen. Our suite (#220) is on the second floor and is handicapped accessible via an elevator.
The surrounding area offers numerous restaurants and stores, including the Pruneyard Shopping Center, Philz Coffee, Sports Basement, Trader Joes, Mr. Pickle’s Sandwich Shop, Orchard City Kitchen, World Wraps, Mendocino Farms, Burger Lounge, and Pacific Catch.
This location provides easy access to Highway 17. Nearby public transportation includes the Downtown Campbell (Green) and Hamilton (Green light rail stations).
To locate our office, as you enter the parking lot, look for the middle entrance on the left side of the building (these main doors are unmarked). Take the elevator or stairs up to the second floor, and enter suite #220. Look for our inner office door on the right side of the waiting room.
