As a licensed psychologist, I love seeing how assessment data can help parents gain a more comprehensive view of their child's strengths and weaknesses, so that they can support them therapeutically and educationally. When not providing evaluations through Mind Matters, I work as a staff psychologist at Kaiser Permanente, providing short-term psychodynamic, and family system psychotherapy in three different languages (Mandarin, English, Taiwanese), working on the crisis response team, providing risk assessments, and facilitating a K-5 ADHD parent consultation group.

Before immigrating to the US from Taiwan approximately ten years ago, I taught English and mathematics to elementary, middle and high school students. Throughout my graduate studies, I tutored students experiencing ADHD, dyslexia, and learning disabilities. I bring this background in education to bear when providing evaluations for children, to help design interventions and accommodations that will foster their academic growth.

In my personal time, I love watching basketball games and analyzing game statistics. My husband and I also enjoy hiking, fine dining, playing video games, watching movies, and teaching Sunday school to children.
