As a mother of three children and licensed clinical psychologist, I understand the difficulties that parents face when making decisions that affect our children’s future. Thus, when working with children and adolescents, my primary goal is to help parents better understand their child and to empower parents to meet their child’s needs. When working directly with young adults, I strive to develop their insight into their strengths and challenges and guide them on how to best advocate for themselves in academic and workplace settings.

I completed my undergraduate degree at Harvard College and earned my Doctor of Psychology degree at the Wright Institute, a program with full accreditation from the American Psychological Association (APA). Further training included an APA-approved internship at Franciscan Children’s Hospital in the Boston area. There I provided individual and group psychotherapy for children living at a residential treatment center and served as lead clinician on a multidisciplinary assessment team. Next, I completed a postdoctoral fellowship at North Shore Children’s Hospital, where I focused exclusively on providing neurodevelopmental evaluations for infants, children and adolescents. Since earning my California clinical psychology license in 2006, I have specialized in comprehensive evaluations of children, adolescents and young adults.

I live with my family in San Francisco. Outside of my professional life, I enjoy hiking, skiing, swing dancing and organizing community events.
